Look What We Did! Summer Fayre Grand Total

Together we raised enough money from our Summer Fayre to pay outright for the NEW playground coming for Reception children later this year.

Thanks - YOU made all the difference

The game changer this time was YOU! More parents, teachers, carers & community members than ever before volunteered to plan and run it.

Over 100 people stepped up to help for this event, including over 20 teachers and school staff. That's more than double the number we had at last year's Winter Bazaar!

Very special thanks go to our Summer Fayre Lead Patty Bass, Katie Cordell, Teacher Anne-Marie Morgan, and FOHMS Chair Laura Tulloch, who collaborated over countless hours to plan the event and to realise the Vision for the Fayre that originally came from Co-headteachers Jill Pughe & Roxanna Kabra.

And of course we must acknowledge and thank the many families and members of our surrounding school community who came along to support the event and buy things on the day!

    Overall funds raised

The Summer Fayre netted a whopping £8,632.44 - the largest amount ever raised by a single FOHMS event!

    Where's the money going?

This handsome haul means that FOHMS can now fund in total the NEW playground coming for Reception children later this year (more below).

    But that's not all!

Want to do it all again? Our Winter Fayre is already in the diary for Friday 2 December 2022! Get in touch at hello@fohms.co.uk to put your name down to help.

    WHAT ARE WE FUNDRAISING FOR?

FOHMS' principal fundraising focus is for an amazing NEW playground and outside play area for our Reception children.

We also pay for other year group activities including trumpet-playing lessons for Year 5 children and free t-shirts for Year 6 leavers to treasure as mementos of their time at primary school.

We also expect to support families in need over the coming Winter during the cost of living crisis.
