Ukraine Relief Easter Bake Sale raises over £1400

Henry Maynard School Bake Sale Fundraiser Ukraine Relief raises over £1,400
FOHMS raised over £1,400 for Ukraine Relief in a Bake Sale at Easter. Pictured (from L to R): Laura Tulloch (FOHMS Chair), Becky Wright, Harrison (we like to start our volunteers young!) Catherine Skinner, Deborah Sawyerr, Raffaelle Convert.

Our Bake Sale Fundraiser in aid of Ukrainian Relief at the Infants' School just before Easter raised over £1,400, thanks to a team of FOHMS volunteers who baked, sorted generous donations and sold cakes.

The playground remained open after school so children could play, while their parents socialised over a cuppa & cake with other parents, Headteachers Ms Pughe and Ms Kabra & some school governors.

It was FOHMS' (our school's PTA) first get together this year and some of the volunteers' first chance to get involved with a FOHMS fundraising event.

DEC logoAll proceeds have now gone DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) - an umbrella organisation made up of 15 of the major humanitarian aid charities which have united together at this time of war to support those in desperate need in Ukraine.
